On September 4, 2022, at approximately 8:52 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a home in the 1700 block of West Lexington Street, for a report of human remains at the location.
Once there, officers located, in the rear yard of a vacant home, skeletal human remains.
The victim’s remains were transported to the Medical Examiner’s office, where on June 26, 2023, the death was ruled a homicide caused by trauma.
The victim has only been identified as an adult male at this time.
Reminder: Police disclosures of homicide information are almost always limited to the block level. Markers in fine-detail or street-level zooms are likely to imply precision that is not actually present.
